According to Sina Finance, Tee Lip Teng, president of the Malaysian Biodiesel Association, said Malaysia's biodiesel consumption is expected to reach 1.4 million tons this year, up from 1 million tons last year. He said on Friday on the sidelines of a biofuels conference in Bali that the country is promoting B10 to B20 blending in transportation and using the B7 standard in industry. He added that Malaysia needs to upgrade its storage tank facilities to support higher biodiesel blending ratios.
