This just happened with $ARB: +38% in just the last 24 hours. And it’s not a pump with no explanation.

What happened? On September 15, Geoffrey Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Assets Research at Standard Chartered, published price targets for Arbitrum through 2030: USD 0.50 by the end of 2026, USD 1.50 in 2027, USD 3.50 in 2028, USD 6.50 in 2029, and USD 10 by the end of 2030. That’s multiplying by almost 70 from where ARB was before this run.

Why does it say that? According to Robinhood Chain, the L2 network that Robinhood launched on July 1, built with Arbitrum technology. According to the bank, that chain is already pushing Arbitrum’s revenue at a pace of nearly USD 5 million per month in September—more than 5 times the level before July.

What’s the mechanism? Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, the chains built on Arbitrum pay 10% of their net revenue to the ecosystem: 8% to the DAO and 2% to the developers fund. On September 1, Robinhood Chain generated USD 3.75M in fees in one day and sent about USD 370,000 to Arbitrum over 24 hours.

How did the market react? Like this: ARB went from nearly USD 0.14 a week ago to almost USD 0.23 now (+63% in 7 days), with an extra jump of +38% just today.

📊 Price: USD 0.228

📈 24h: +38%

💰 24h Volume: nearly USD 63.7M

⚠️ BUT WATCH OUT

Three things that almost nobody mentions alongside the "70x": ARB holders have no legal rights over that revenue; it goes to the DAO and the developers fund—there is no distribution or automatic token buyback. One day before this rally, on September 16, nearly 92.6 million ARB from team and investors were unlocked, right when open interest in futures almost tripled over weeks (from nearly USD 110M in August to over USD 290M now). And Standard Chartered’s own report admits that much of today’s activity is still speculation, not truly tokenized “traditional” assets. To make matters worse, the gas subsidy that Robinhood offers on its chain runs out by the end of September.

Do you buy the thesis of "Arbitrum as Wall Street infrastructure," or do you think the market already got too far ahead of the data?
