According to Sina Finance, Yonhap News Agency cited South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance as saying the temporary fuel tax cut policy will be extended by two months through the end of November because of continued turmoil in the Middle East. Gasoline fuel tax cuts will remain at 15%, while diesel and butane cuts will remain at 25%. Including value-added tax, the fuel tax is 698 won per liter for gasoline, 436 won per liter for diesel, and 152 won per liter for butane.
