【If AVAX drops to 6 dollars, what will the dip-buyers do?】

I’ve been thinking about this question for a while now.

Not just random thoughts—I’m actually working through it. The support at 7.1: I’ve drawn it for a long time, and it’s right there hovering in front of us. If it really breaks, that whole-number level at 6 dollars will attract a rush of people into it—not small retail traders, but those old hands who have been “waiting for this moment for half a year.”

So the question is: if they buy at 6 dollars, will they sell at 7?

That’s where AVAX is most awkward right now. The valuation is genuinely low—95% downside is sitting there in plain sight, and it’s basically being sold at a bargain price. But low valuation doesn’t automatically mean an immediate rise; that’s two different things. There are plenty of undervalued things in the market, and there are plenty of coins that just lie there doing nothing. Being undervalued is a reason, not a catalyst.

What I’m really watching is whether trading volume expands. When the price doesn’t move but volume picks up, it means someone is making moves. At this position, it’s either institutions quietly accumulating, or someone is cutting losses. Which one is more common will determine whether the next move is up or down. I can’t judge with precision, but I know that once volume expands, there’s often a direction choice. And that choice is very likely within this week.

Sentiment is also cooling off. FNG dropped from 58 to 50—this kind of decline isn’t accidental. People have shifted from optimism to watching from the sidelines. That’s a classic characteristic of a consolidation period. Consolidation isn’t a bad thing—it’s building up energy. The issue is: after the energy is built, which way will it move?

Then there’s that news—Bolivia’s electric power credit using Avalanche to settle stablecoins. Honestly, when I hear news like that, my first reaction isn’t excitement; it’s calm. Has it actually been implemented? If it’s implemented—does it have scale? Not sure. Can it support the price? Even less sure. Stuff like this happens all the time in the industry: the news comes out, and there’s a big pump at first—then two days later you find the order volume is nowhere near as big as the milk tea shop on your doorstep. This kind of positive news can be traded for a short-term move, but expecting it to change the overall trend? That’s overthinking it.

So my own view is this: the direction choice is nearing in the short term, but it could be either up or down—I lean toward a range-bound move.

In what situation would I feel like I’m wrong? It’s simple. If trading volume suddenly shrinks, then I won’t make any judgments—I’ll just wait for the market to speak for itself. If 7.1 really breaks, then I’ll admit that I missed this move. I will.

What’s your mindset right now? Are you itching to act? Or are you already just watching?
