Shorts got wiped again! The whale held on tight and lost $25 million—can this $ZEC move still be chased?

Brothers, today ZEC’s行情 is brutal. The 1-hour chart shows it surged to a new high of $1,396 in the early morning, and now it’s pulling back, hovering around $1,360. Is this the chance to get on board, or has it already topped out? My answer is very clear: the pullback is the opportunity.

First, a real story. There was a whale that went short at $1,245 with 10x leverage—within just 3 hours, it got squeezed and liquidated, losing $890,000. Even worse: the “BTC OG whale” Garrett Jin started shorting from $400, and added more at $1,252 last night. Now he’s holding 37,760 short positions, with an unrealized loss of $25.85 million. His liquidation price is at $2,631. The stop-loss orders for these shorts are the biggest fuel for ZEC to keep rising.

News is also intense. The NU7 governance vote just ended: 99.9% of the coin supply supported reducing block time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, and 98.9% supported keeping the halving. Grayscale converted the Zcash trust into a spot ETF—basically, the institutional capital channel is fully open.

Technicals: key support is at 1320-1330, with strong support at 1280. Resistance above is at 1380-1400. In terms of capital flow, there’s a small outflow in the short cycle, but from 1 hour to 12 hours it’s all net inflow—big money’s bullish intent hasn’t changed.

Longs: be aggressive with a small position at current price; more conservatively, wait for a pullback and enter around 1340-1350. Targets: 1390-1420.
