$BTC : liquidity builds up above — will there be a sweep of $80K before the drop?
Right now $BTC is trading around $76.3–$76.5K. Below the price, there is concentrated liquidity for longs ($74–$75K), while above $78–$80K there is a large cluster of short liquidations. Open Interest is high ($51.6B), so a sharp move in either direction is possible. Additionally, US ETFs have seen net outflows over the past few days (~$602M), despite the Fed raising the rate to 3.75–4.00%.
🎯 My trading setup (SHORT):
I’m not buying at the current price. I’m waiting for a push upward into liquidity:
Short Entry: $78,000 – $80,000 (if weakness / a rejection appears).
Targets (TP): $75,000 \rightarrow $72,500 \rightarrow $70,000–$69,500
Stop-loss (SL): 4H close above $81,500–$82,000
⚠️ Alternative (if we go LONG):
A breakout and 4H hold above $80–$81K on rising spot volumes, along with restored ETF inflows, would invalidate the short scenario. Then shorts will start getting forced to close en masse, and price will test $82K – $85K+.
