🚨 BTC又像2022?美联储加息后还能反弹吗?🔥

Bitcoin is now showing a historical parallel that is making markets cautious.
CoinDesk notes that BTC is currently down about 40% from its October peak of around $126,000, and this price-drop structure is very similar to the market conditions in 2022 before the Federal Reserve’s first rate hike.

More importantly, in 2022, BTC didn’t just slide immediately after the rate hike was announced.
Back then, after the Fed’s first rate increase in March 2022, Bitcoin actually rose about 18% over the following 12 days, and only afterward fell another 50%. 📉

So what does this mean?
What the market may need to guard against right now isn’t simply “rate hike = immediate selloff.”
Instead, watch for a possible sequence:
👉 A short-lived rebound after the rate hike
👉 Market sentiment turns stronger again
👉 Then liquidity pressure is released once more

And this time, the macro environment is also far from easy.
The Federal Reserve has just raised rates by 25 basis points, pushing the target range to 3.75%–4%, and the market is currently pricing in an additional tightening of about 75 basis points over the next six months. At the same time, higher oil prices could add fresh pressure by cooling inflation less than expected.

So what BTC is truly facing now isn’t an isolated rate hike.
It’s:
🏦 Rates staying at high levels
⛽ Energy prices pushing inflation pressure up again
💵 Liquidity could continue to tighten

BTC remains in a relatively deep pullback
Of course, the lessons from 2022 can’t be copied directly to today.
CoinDesk clearly reminds that the brutal selloff back then came alongside a chain reaction affecting stocks, bonds, commodities, and the crypto industry itself, and currently there is only one mature cycle that can serve as the main reference.

So what’s really worth watching next are three signals:
👀 Whether BTC shows a short-term rebound after the rate hike
👀 Whether oil prices and inflation continue to put pressure on the Fed
👀 Whether market expectations for further rate hikes continue to heat up
The script from 2022 may not necessarily repeat.
But if history once again brings the “rebound first, then release risk” rhythm, markets may need to be even more cautious than they are right now. 🔥
