Today’s second most eventful thing in the crypto world: the promised “clear regulation” — and yet they’re fighting again

Today, the market is buzzing about the second item: voting on the #美联储加息是否已成定局 $BTC CLARITY Act was blocked, sparking controversy.

In plain terms: the U.S. originally wanted to pass a bill to clearly define who regulates cryptocurrencies (the SEC or the Commodity Futures Trading Commission). But the vote didn’t pass, and the two sides started arguing—there’s a lot of disagreement.

What’s interesting is that today BTC and ETH didn’t drop; they actually ticked up a bit (BTC +0.71%, ETH +1.44%). It suggests the market is in the mood of, “you argue on your side, I’ll go up on mine.”

That said, until this bill actually lands, the crypto industry still doesn’t have a sure answer. With policy being unclear, it remains a lingering risk. Prices may look okay in the short term, but long term it still depends on regulators’ mood.

Do you think they can get this bill done this year? Let’s discuss in the comments👇
