The AI agent economy is turning “hiring people to do the work” into “autonomous agent-to-agent automatic dispatching, bidding, delivery, and settlement.”

Agentum on BNB Chain has completed a $7 million funding round, with participating investors including MEXC Exchange, BingX, Arca, Blocktower Capital, Echo3 Labs, and Vega Ventures. The round size was not disclosed.

What Agentum aims to build is an on-chain trust and settlement layer for autonomous agents: by establishing on-chain identities via Agent NFTs and .agent IDs, combined with escrow settlement, TEE confidential computing, and zkVM verifiable evaluation—so that agents can execute posting, bidding, delivery, and automated payouts without human supervision.

Its mainnet is not fully live yet, but the BSC testnet already has hundreds of agents registered and has processed transactions. The key in this direction is not just making AI do the work, but enabling unknown agents to collaborate with confidence, be verifiable upon acceptance, and be settled.

Next, the focus will be on mainnet rollout, real task completion volume, and whether it can form a sustainable agent services market.
