📰 Vitalik Buterin has just proposed combining AI with formal verification to stop smart contract hacks.

In a post dated 18/05, he acknowledged that AI can generate high-speed code but lacks accuracy, posing major risks for smart contracts managing billions of dollars. He emphasized that Lean theorem proving tools are the key, and believes that once the code has been verified, vulnerabilities will be eliminated permanently.

Why is it noteworthy?
Buterin revealed that about 90% of his net assets are held in $ETH , so the drive to secure this ecosystem is not only academic.

In simple terms:
Instead of just testing a few cases, mathematical proofs ensure the code is correct in every scenario—especially needed for quantum-resistant signatures and Ethereum’s ZKPs.
