$WLFI has moved 88 million coins to Binance again: is this time really gearing up to sell?

A multisig wallet for WLFI has just transferred 88 million coins—about $5.09 million worth of WLFI—into Binance. And over the past month alone, it has already sent a total of 248 million coins—about $13.55 million. One transfer to an exchange doesn’t equal selling, but repeatedly moving coins to Binance changes the nature of the action.

More importantly, WLFI has indeed carried out similar “transfer first, then trade” operations before. During the project’s early launch, the official specifically emphasized that there was “no team selling tokens early—only presale unlocks.” Now, looking at this batch of multisig addresses, it at least suggests that available circulating holdings are being actively brought closer to the market. And with WLFI currently having about 31.8 billion coins in circulation out of a total supply of 100 billion, only about 31.8% has entered circulation, the supply pressure has remained heavy.

Price also says a lot. WLFI is currently around $0.057, with a market cap of about $1.8 billion. In the past month, it has mostly traded in a tight range around $0.055–$0.06. In other words, the market hasn’t treated these transfers as a panic sell-off—but it also hasn’t given them any premium.

What really needs watching is whether, after those 248 million coins go into Binance, they are continuously used to hit the sell orders—and whether the multisig will keep transferring afterward. As long as the transfer frequency continues to rise, the market will start pricing WLFI in advance for “additional supply.” If the tokens move in but then stay idle on the exchange for a long time, it may just be market making and liquidity management.
