According to Wallstreetcn, at the 2026 Intelligent Economy Forum held in Beijing on September 16, Baidu Executive Vice President and Baidu Intelligent Cloud Group President Shen Dou proposed the concept of an "industrial agent operating system" and said industrial agents could narrow the gap between model capability and economic growth, turning advances in model capability into business results and making large models a real economic force. He said support for industrial agents should include three types: general agents, professional agents and customized agents.
