The U.S. Department of Transportation has temporarily relaxed driving-time rules. According to Sina Finance, truck drivers transporting gasoline and diesel may now work up to 16 consecutive hours within a 24-hour period, but they must still take required rest breaks. The move is intended to prevent fuel shortages.
