Morgan Stanley co-president Dan Simkowitz said OpenAI and Anthropic’s push to slow releases of frontier AI models will not dent demand or spending on compute and chips. According to BeInCrypto, he said financing for that build is also continuing, and Morgan Stanley is scaling AI across research, cybersecurity and customer service. Simkowitz declined to discuss individual deals, said he does not know when Anthropic will go public, and flagged fiscal policy, $100 oil and $40 trillion of federal debt as his main worries.
