According to Wallstreetcn, the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index fell 0.55% to 5,734.17, extending losses after the Federal Reserve announced a rate hike at 02:00 UTC+8 and its dot plot signaled more hikes this year, before recovering some ground after Fed Chair Jerome Powell's press conference ended. Among popular Chinese stocks, Xiaomi initially fell 2.8%, Tencent Holdings fell 2.4%, Meituan fell 2.3%, Alibaba fell 2%, Baidu fell 1.9%, NetEase fell 1.4%, and BYD fell 0.9%, while Pinduoduo rose 0.9% and ASE Technology rose 2%. Among ETFs, the KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF (KWEB) fell 0.98%, the China Technology ETF (CQQQ) rose 0.15%, the Deutsche X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 ETF (ASHR) rose 0.12%, the MSCI Emerging Markets ex China ETF (EMXC) rose 0.19%, and the Xtrackers Harvest CSI 50 ETF (ASHS) rose 1.14%.
