The FCA and Bank of England just took another step toward production-scale wholesale tokenization.

Their latest feedback gathered 123 responses and the message was clear:
Firms want permanent rules, not endless experiments.
The biggest opportunity isn't flashy 24/7 trading.
It's collateral.

Tokenized assets could move faster, settle more efficiently, and reduce the excess collateral institutions currently keep as a safety buffer.

And the UK is building toward it:
๐Ÿฆ Digital gilt issuance is planned for Q1 2027
๐Ÿ’ท Central-bank-money synchronization is targeted for 2028
๐Ÿ“‹ A joint wholesale tokenization roadmap is expected later in 2026

#hedera $HBAR is already part of the story.

Archax has issued tokenized money-market funds on Hedera, while Archax, Lloyds and Aberdeen previously completed a UK-first FX collateral transaction using tokenized assets.

But competition is intense, with networks such as Canton and private-bank chains also targeting institutional markets.

The next big signal?
The UK roadmap. #UKregulation
