Developers continue to have fun with a digital brain of a fly. This time, they put the fly to play Deadlock.

A model with 166 thousand neurons was trained on recordings of other players’ matches. A computer vision system helps it understand what’s happening on the screen, and a separate algorithm is responsible for aiming.

The fly runs around the map, takes part in fights, and plays best as Graves. According to the author, it even performs better than his teammates.
