This bill failed to pass, which is a real, concrete negative for the crypto market—not a minor bump, but a direct removal of the market’s “regulatory expectations.”

The market has already voted with its feet
- Bitcoin fell by more than 5% at one point, dropping below $75,000; Ethereum fell by more than 8%, its largest drop since June; XRP was hit and dropped by more than 10% outright
- In the past 24 hours, nearly 120,000 people worldwide were liquidated, with long positions liquidated to the tune of $570 million
- Crypto-related stocks such as Coinbase and Circle plunged collectively by more than 10%

This “Clear Act” is the most systematic crypto legislative attempt in the U.S. in recent years. Its core aim is to clearly define the regulatory boundary for the SEC and the CFTC, so that institutions such as banks and brokerages can enter in a legitimate and straightforward manner.
Now the bill was blocked just outside the 60-vote threshold, passing 50:49.
In the short term, sentiment will definitely remain under pressure, but there’s no need to panic excessively.
At this point, it’s recommended to control your position sizes first—don’t rush to buy the dip. Wait until market sentiment has digested the news.
