Tonight at 2:00, the Federal Reserve will announce its interest-rate decision. It will determine both who wins and who loses, and also set the bigger picture.
If the market hikes by 25 basis points as expected, then it will be sell-off first and then rebound—when the bad news is already priced in, that becomes good news;
If it holds steady or delays the hike, it can still break upward. If expectations fail, it turns into fuel. And if a black swan happens and it cuts rates directly, that’s not “taking off”—it’s “igniting and then soaring.”
Whether for spot or futures, the current price is the attitude: just do it.
In the past two days, the market has already been digesting the rate-hike downside. By the time the “shoe drops,” there won’t be a deep enough sell-off hole to fall into.
So the logic is very clear: when you get a spike, you take longs; when you pull back, that’s your opportunity.
