🧠 My thought: USDT played two roles in one case: a way to pay for sanctioned oil and evidence against a state. Tether’s freeze function turned a stablecoin into an asset that can be taken. And that is the paradox of the week: Congress could not agree on rules, while courts are already treating stablecoins like dollars that can be seized. Rules are coming not through law, but through seizure. A wake-up call for holders: the freeze button works at the address level, without a court order.
