🔷 $ZEC : Monetary policy by vote

Facts:
• NU7 results: ~2.4M out of 3.6M eligible ZEC holders voted (66%) — record turnout
• By an overwhelming majority, holders supported fast transactions and halvings in the style of Bitcoin
ZEC ~$1,100–1,200: rally +62% from $880 in August, about +2,000% over the year
• $1.8B in futures open interest accompanied the vote

🧠 My take: ZEC holders rewrote monetary policy on the ballot: halvings mean the deficit is now a choice, not a coded tradition. Contrast of the day: this evening, the FOMC committee sets the dollar rate behind closed doors, while ZEC’s monetary policy was decided by open voting with two-thirds turnout. The dollar is decided by the committee; ZEC is decided by consensus. The market voted with its shoulder: $1.8B in futures.

⚠️ “Overwhelming majority” leaves no room for surprises: after the vote comes the classic sell-the-news zone.

❓ Whose monetary policy is more reliable: ZEC voting or the FOMC committee? 👇
