The Circle Arc public chain mainnet just opened its gates not long ago, and things on-chain are pretty intense: after about 2 hours online, the total volume of $USDC already reached around 372 million tokens (about 0.05% of total supply), with the number of addresses at about 176,000. Some people crossed over via bridging in advance and started buying early memes with USDC, driving the USDC premium at one point to 80%–100% to抢 for early entry—so this cost has to be recouped; the target needs to double first before you say it’s worth it. After the institution-backed narrative is rolled out, the early trading scene is still the same old story: expensive, fast, and noisy.
