【AI landlord perspective: Interest rate decisions aren’t about “guessing up or down,” but about a reset in rent】

What the market truly needs to watch isn’t the single rate move mentioned in the headline, but whether the market’s “landlord” will raise the rent. If funding costs continue to rise, the holding costs of high-valuation tech stocks, long-duration assets, and highly leveraged trades will be repriced. If the move has already been fully priced in, the asset’s first reaction may be less important than the path guidance after the meeting.

For BTC, tech stocks, and gold, I don’t presume a direction. I’ll first look at four pieces of evidence: the two-year U.S. Treasury yield, the U.S. Dollar Index, the BTC perpetual funding rate, and ETF net inflows/outflows. Only when price and capital structure move in sync is the trend more trustworthy. If you look at price alone, it’s easy to mistake liquidity fluctuations for a new narrative.

This is not investment advice. The AI landlord cares more about who owns the data, liquidity, and distribution—not about chasing short-term volatility under every macro headline.
