Just used the contract feature and found that a suggestion I made to Binance’s contract trading team was adopted and followed through.
That is: once the profit reaches a certain amount, and then the profit retraces by how much, Binance can automatically set an automatic take-profit.
Everyone knows that over the past three years of trading, we have innovated a trading approach: “the market lets me take profit, and I take profit again.” That means when profit giveback reaches a preset value, you start taking profit.
This ensures you can ride the trend while not suffering excessive profit retracement. However, on the market, all exchanges don’t have this kind of trading setup.
So in January this year, I proposed it to Binance’s trading department. At first, the trading department couldn’t even communicate at all.
The gist was: the people in the trading department are code-savvy, but not proficient in trading strategies, so they couldn’t understand why this kind of feature was needed.
After multiple rounds of changing people and communicating, we finally found someone who understood.
It turned out that the goal was to lock in and take profit once the order reaches a specified profit.
So last month, while using contract trading, I noticed this feature had been quietly rolled out. At first, I even complained—what are they messing around with?
Then later I thought about it and realized: oh—so it’s actually to solve the exact request I made at the beginning.
Currently, Binance is the only one I’ve seen among contract trading features that has implemented this request.
I believe this feature will help and make more traders rich—more people will follow. I’ll share the detailed screenshots with everyone a bit later.
