I stopped looking only at potential profit

Earlier, when I saw a new asset or product, the first thing I’d wonder was—how much can I make from it.

Now, before buying, I first ask myself a few simple questions.

What exactly am I buying? How is the price formed? What fees are there? Are there any restrictions on selling or withdrawing? And what happens if the market moves against me?

This applies to both bStocks and TradFi, and Binance Earn products as well. Even if an instrument looks straightforward, it’s better to read the terms before you hit the button.

Especially in crypto, it’s easy to get carried away by the number on the screen and forget that real risk lies behind it.

So now my approach is simple: first understand the product, then assess the risks—and only after that decide whether it’s a fit for me.

And what do you check first before using a new financial product?
