$450 million leaves ETF funds in just 24 hours – record net outflows since June. Is this really the end of $BTC ’s uptrend, or just a “blood swap” reshuffling of the whales’ portfolio?
The market just wobbled when both BlackRock and Fidelity reportedly withdrew at the same time. The spark came from the CLARITY Act suddenly stalling in the U.S. Senate, prompting Wall Street finance to immediately trigger de-risking measures to defend against legal risk.
As a result, more than $100 million in Long positions were wiped out, pushing $BTC back to $75,829 (-2.32% in 24 hours at the time I wrote this). When the whales pull back liquidity on standby, the derivatives camp has to pay the price immediately with painful slippage.
I see this as very disciplined portfolio rebalancing by major funds—not a panicked exit. However, when the short-term ETF support is shaky, rushing to catch the bottom or piling on leverage right now can easily fall into a trap. Instead of guessing the bottom, everyone should stay patient and watch how the buyers respond.
