The CLARITY bill didn’t pass this time, but the direction hasn’t really changed.

What the two parties are truly fighting over isn’t whether to provide the crypto industry with a clearer regulatory framework, but the ethics and conflicts-of-interest provisions. Put simply, the core conflict still revolves around Trump.

If the political landscape shifts after the midterm elections, the Democratic Party could fully support a revised version of CLARITY, repackage it, and present it as a policy achievement delivered to the crypto industry.

So no matter which path it ultimately takes, at least for now, the industry’s policy direction hasn’t gotten worse.

Bills can be revisited, and politics can be played.

As long as crypto regulation continues to move toward greater clarity, the long-term logic for Crypto is less likely to be changed by a few political dramas. So I think Crypto is basically scripted to win in political struggles.
