South Korea has just calmed things down for its crypto investors. The appointed Minister of Finance, Lee Hyeong-il, says that 95% of holders own less than 5 million won and that taxation will have a limited impact on the market. A 50% deduction on unproven acquisition costs is added to a 2.5 million won allowance. Enough to reassure people when BTC is down 2.42% to 75 903$ et and ETH has plunged 4.05% to $2 403. Governments that minimize crypto’s tax impact—do they really want to protect the small saver or simply avoid killing a nascent industry? #Crypto #SouthKorea
