Sihao Huang, formerly a senior policy adviser for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, has joined Anthropic as head of frontier compute strategy. According to ChainCatcher, he will work with Anthropic compute lead Tom Brown on infrastructure expansion, industry coalition building, and planning for rapid AI development.

Huang said his White House role involved advancing U.S. artificial intelligence policy and related industrial infrastructure. He added that his new position will bring him closer to frontier technologies that continue to influence major policy decisions.
