Yes, by Allah, people do not know the danger of usury (ribā) in the stock market—it's the devil's trap, eating ribā. Indeed, Allah opposes it. He, the Exalted, said: (If you do not do it, then be informed of a war from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, then you may have your capital. Wrong not, and you shall not be wronged.)
From Surah Al-Baqarah—Ayah (279)
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: “Ribā has seventy-something doors; the lowest of them is like a man having intercourse with his mother.”
This hadith alone makes whoever reads it shudder, his organs tremble, and his color pales out of fear of Allah, the Exalted.
