What remains after the bear market is more likely to achieve the big results of the bull market

I’m increasingly convinced that what the bear market truly filters is not just coins, but people.

Why didn’t many people make money this round? It’s not that the market didn’t offer opportunities—it’s that they left early.

Many people always want to time the market perfectly: sell at the top, go to cash with no exposure during the bear market, then come back only after it’s confirmed that the bottom is in. On paper, it looks beautiful—for example, $BTC sold at 120,000, bought back at 57,000, and just happened to catch the subsequent rally. The problem is, this kind of script basically only exists in retrospectives.

Real investing isn’t that neat. After most people exit, by the time they feel that the market can make money again, they’re often no longer in the best position.

So, many of the people who truly profited in this round didn’t necessarily predict the bottom. Instead, they simply never left during the bear market.

$VC.US is the same.

Recently, directions like stock-tokenization have been getting hot again, but it isn’t something that started this year. When funding is truly needed and when real construction actually begins, it’s usually when the market is at its coldest and nobody is talking about it. Once the industry becomes a hot topic again, capital comes back to抢 projects. And then I would ask myself: what you’re seeing now—are you seeing real opportunities, or are you just seeing the market come back?

I’m more inclined to believe that the next truly great bull-market projects are often already being built during the bear market. By the time they become market consensus, the best opportunities may have already passed.

So if you genuinely believe in an industry, the most important thing isn’t to wait until the wind comes and then enter—it’s whether you’re still willing to stay there when there’s no wind.

Those who stay through the bear market are more likely to get the truly big results of the bull market.
