🚨 CLARITY Act Hits a Major Roadblock

The U.S. Senate has rejected the procedural vote to advance H.R. 3633, the CLARITY Act, with the final tally at 49–50, below the 60 votes required for cloture.

What makes this interesting is that several Democrats who had previously participated in bipartisan negotiations also voted against moving forward. The dispute reportedly centered heavily on ethics, conflicts of interest, consumer protection and market-integrity provisions.

This was not a final vote on the bill itself. It was a procedural vote determining whether the Senate could proceed with consideration.

For crypto, the immediate message is uncertainty. Clear U.S. market-structure rules remain unresolved, while lawmakers now face the question of whether negotiations can restart.

The big question: Can both sides find enough common ground to bring CLARITY back to the table?
