BitBox now lets owners of any BitBox hardware wallet create a Lightning hot wallet in BitBoxApp. According to NS3.AI, users can fund the wallet from their on-chain balance and pay Lightning invoices without switching apps, wallets, or third-party services. The Lightning wallet uses the existing BitBox backup while remaining separate from the hardware wallet.
