Today you learn a word as a beginner: Gas fee. It’s not an exchange’s arbitrary fee, but the network cost you pay to have the blockchain package and execute your transaction. The more congested the network is and the more complex the operation is, the higher the Gas is usually. Before transferring, be sure to verify the network, the coin/token, and the address, and check the estimated fee first. A cheap network doesn’t mean you can choose it freely—if the receiving platform doesn’t support the same network, your assets may be difficult to recover.
