Broadcom bought the Irvine research campus it had been leasing for $325 million. According to Sina Finance, the 660,000-square-foot property is near the interchange of Interstate 5 and Interstate 405 and is one of the largest office sales in Southern California in recent years.

The campus consists of two five-story office buildings at 15101 and 15191 Alton Parkway. Broadcom originally developed the site as an office and research complex, sold it in 2017 for about $443 million, and continued to occupy it under a 20-year lease. CoStar said PRP Real Estate Investment Company bought the campus in 2020 for $355 million.
