INTC is stuck right at the 98.5 threshold—tonight, is this a fake breakout or the real takeoff?
Yesterday INTC fell 0.48%, yet its intraday range was 5.3%. It swung a full big-candle move both up and down, with volume at $108 million. That suggests bulls and bears are changing hands aggressively at this level. Now the price is just 0.26% away from 98.569—basically face-to-face. This zone is the overhead suppression at the top of the range, and it’s also where I plan to place a short order. Once it reaches here, if it can’t break through and volume can’t keep up, this is where the bears take back control. Conversely, if it immediately grabs 98.5 with volume and holds, then yesterday’s range was a shakeout, not distribution—and shorts have to accept it.
My stance is very clear: around 98.569, I’m more inclined to see it pushed back down. Take profit: 94.954. Stop loss: 101.036. With 16x leverage, that defensive room isn’t wide—so when it hits 98.5, I’ll watch for a response first; if there’s no reaction, I won’t enter.
BTC current price 76,922, down 1.62% over the past 24 hours. Risk appetite hasn’t gotten any support: Nasdaq today -0.56%, and -1.21% over the past week. Tech stocks are falling, and BTC is not deviating lower—so it’s moving with them. VIX is 17.7, up today +3.45% and +12.53% over the past week. Risk-hedging sentiment is rising, and funds are tending to pull out of crypto. US 10Y yields are 4.961%, down only 1.4 bps versus the prior day—basically unchanged. Don’t read it as a positive.

I’ve been trading US stocks for 3 years—I came only after Binance could do US stocks. There are two daily updates, morning and night, so you can follow along.
