#AAPL Teaches You How to Arbitrage: Get an iPhone for Free
As I said before: sometimes making money doesn’t depend on how much value you create,
but on what you already have.
The price of the iPhone Duo directly discourages young people, students,
but my iPhones, iPads, Mac mini, and iMac can basically be understood as being “sent by Tim Cook.”
The method is also very simple—just think of it as Apple’s cyclical pattern.
Before every WWDC each year, from January to May, look for opportunities to buy AAPL.
Within this window, you only need to focus on a single metric: “relative strength.”
Buy at a low point. If you’re confused and can’t judge, it doesn’t matter.
At the latest, buy by May 15—just do it.
(Why May 15? Don’t ask. There are too many details.)

Then the following steps are crucial:
Typically, a top-spec iPhone Pro Max is calculated at $1300.
That includes AppleCare, the phone case, and iCloud money.
Set a take-profit condition: return of 11%.
Don’t ask why it’s 11%—the explanation is too long (option-implied).
Then calculate how much principal you need.
With $1300 setting the take-profit at 11%, then turn off the stock app—don’t look.
Usually around June to September, one iPhone will be “grown” for you.
The core is: don’t watch the stock price.

Actually, there are only two key points:
First, understand the cycle of Apple products and the supply chain.
Second, know why you’re selling before you sell.

“I want to make a lot of money” is almost impossible to execute.
“I only make enough for one iPhone” is instead very clear.

I’ve done this for 3 years, and I haven’t missed.
If you miss, just wait a bit longer—after all, it’s Apple. What are you afraid of?

This year I bought 10 shares of Apple on April 7. I posted a tweet about it.
Since I only planned to upgrade my earphones, I’m already up $706,
so I can buy 2 pairs of earphones and still have enough for about a basic model iPhone 17.
If the goal is one Duo this year, and the market is favorable,
then it only takes 30 shares of AAPL. If you also buy at $245 like I did,
right now you can grow a free iPhone Duo.
You need about RMB 50,000 in principal—save it up a bit like New Year’s lucky money,
and just keep saving hard in normal times; for ordinary people, it’s still achievable.
The key is that your principal remains, and every year you can “grow” a top-spec iPhone.
Especially if you’re the kind of person who likes to tinker with crypto on Binance—ability isn’t the issue.

Saving up some capital early is important.
When you only have a salary, iPhone is a consumer good.
When you start owning assets, iPhone is “sent by Tim Cook.”
