KOMA, this drop isn’t exactly gentle.

On the 15m timeframe, it directly smashed down 3.19%. Volume jumped to 2.73x the usual level, and the close even broke below the lower bound of the past ~20 5m K-bars. The aggressive trading imbalance is -27.6%, the buy/sell ratio is 0.57. Selling pressure is clearly hitting the order book—not some fake move where a thin wick dips and then quickly gets pulled back.

But what’s interesting is the OI side: on 15m, it’s -0.96%; on 1h, it’s -0.63%. The nominal change is -326K / -387K. Price is falling while OI is also dropping. This combination reads more like long de-leveraging, stop-losses getting swept, or positions being voluntarily reduced—not like new shorts opening and pushing price lower.

In other words, part of the fuel for this sell-off is leverage unwinding itself, not newly added shorting power driving it. OI’s anomalous percentile is 91.5%, and the anomaly for the whole pool is #4—meaning this anomaly level is already on the higher end within the pool. Worth keeping an eye on what happens next.

24h trading value is 43.15M; liquidity depth is sufficient, not an isolated event in some small pool.

My take: if OI continues to shrink and price stabilizes and stops falling near the lower edge of the range, then this is a washout. If OI rebounds while price keeps moving lower, then that’s new short entries—and the nature changes. Two scenarios; just watch OI.
