Green Energy Group (01870) said it has won the land use rights for a site in Shaoguan, Guangdong province, through a public listing and bidding process for RMB15.78 million, or about HK$18.46 million, according to ETNet.

The land covers about 29,000 square metres and is designated for power supply use. The company said the site is planned for construction and development of the Lechang 218 MW/436 MWh electrochemical independent energy storage project in Shaoguan for operational use. The consideration will be funded by internal resources and/or debt financing obtained.
