BNB Smart Chain validators are raising capacity this week: pushing the gas limit in the target block area to 70 million, with most expecting completion within 15 days. The background is that after the Pasteur/BidBlock V2 upgrade, utilization has been over 95% year-round; the on-chain capacity limit has already passed 55 million, and if it isn’t raised, the chain is likely to get congested. BidBlock currently controls about 98% of the blocks, and the average gas is about 28% higher than the old方案.
