If it doesn’t pass, it won’t necessarily cause a sudden panic either—after all, everyone has been mentally prepared.
$BTC is currently around 77500, stuck in the frustrating range of 77000–80000. If the bill advances smoothly, the most direct upside for the larger bet is to test 80000; only if it can increase volume and convincingly hold above it would that be truly strong.
$ETH is currently around 2520, and I’m especially watching the 2500 level. Lately, the second bet has clearly been stronger than the larger bet. With improved expectations from regulators, its longer-term logic becomes even more directly compelling: if 2600 can regain a foothold, the upside above will open up.
My view:
By accepting the updated ethics restrictions this time, I think Trump is sending a clear signal: the U.S. is not planning to drive the crypto industry out; instead, it’s gradually filling in the rules.
If the bill passes, that’s obviously the best outcome. But if it doesn’t, don’t scare yourself.
