Strategy did not increase its BTC holdings last week, and its USD reserves also fell by about $140 million from the previous level to $6.4 billion. Looking only at the “didn’t buy coins” headline, don’t overinterpret it—the real thing worth watching is Strategy’s “financing → buying BTC” cycle: if it can continue to raise funds and keep increasing its holdings, that looks more like a short-term rhythm adjustment. But if cash is continuously consumed and its financing capacity also declines, then the incremental BTC buying pressure from Strategy—previously an important factor—may start to weaken. In the short term, BTC is roughly neutral to mildly bearish; what really matters is whether it can still act as that institutional buyer of “infinite financing for buying coins.”
