🚨 NVIDIA: decline or continued growth?
Despite today’s pressure on NVDA, the fundamental picture remains very strong. Demand for AI chips is enormous; NVIDIA continues to expand revenue, and Blackwell and the future Rubin platform remain the main drivers.
📈 What could drive growth:
• sustaining high AI demand;
• large CAPEX from Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and Google;
• strong results and NVIDIA guidance;
• a positive Nasdaq and easing fears about an AI slowdown.
🎯 Potential targets: $235 → $240 → $250+.
📉 What could trigger a drop:
• cuts to AI investments;
• a strong negative move in the Nasdaq;
• high Fed rates;
• competition from its own AI chips;
• issues with China and export restrictions.
🎯 Potential zones: $220–215 → $210–200.
As for $180–170, I wouldn’t call that a base scenario anymore. For such a decline, there would need to be a serious change in expectations about the AI boom or a major negative factor.
⚖️ My takeaway: with the current AI demand, NVIDIA’s fundamental downside protection is much stronger than it may seem during a short-term selloff. A 5–10% correction is entirely possible, but a drop to $170 would require a completely different situation.
What do you think: will NVDA first see $205 or $250? 📊
