Odaily Planet Daily News According to the Grenada Broadcasting Network (GBN), Justin Sun, the founder of TRON and a member of Huobi's Global Advisory Board, is no longer a diplomat in Grenada. Sun was stripped of his ambassadorial status sometime after the elections held in June 2022, when the New National Party, which granted Sun the position, was removed by the National Democratic Congress. All ambassadors were recalled sometime in the "first few months" of the now nine-month-old NDC government, although Sun did not publicly acknowledge the loss of his position. Previously, in December 2021, Sun was appointed Grenada's ambassador to the WTO, and the then-Grenada government expressed the hope that he would use his connections to promote the country's trade, investment and development opportunities.
