NOK has dropped to 10.03. More than 200 network operators in Spain have just taken on Nokia’s internal-network attack defense solution. This wave of customers is still renewing—so the stock price fell first.

📉 NOK Nokia -8.82%

Latest price 10.03. The 24-hour range is 11.02 to 10.03. It’s currently sitting right at this day’s low, with trading volume of 4.27 million USD—this isn’t exactly quiet. The drop isn’t without reason: Nokia has delivered the capability to protect against internal-network attack methods to more than 200 networks within Spain—news that landed just two hours ago. At the same time, ts2.tech is saying Nokia’s AI sales have doubled. However, the profit from the mobile business still appears to be nearly twice that of the cybersecurity business. Plus, in a TradingView statistic, NOK was listed—along with Apple, Nvidia, Oracle, and SpaceX—as one of the few stocks retail traders have been watching most closely last week.

Putting the three lines together makes the meaning quite clear: the security business is expanding outward (the “200 networks” figure isn’t small), and AI sales are rising too. But the real bulk of the company’s profits is still in the mobile side. The fastest-growing part hasn’t yet carried the weight of profits. Retail traders are also swarming this stock, so sentiment is already tense—once there’s even a small ripple, it’s easy to get a sell-off of this magnitude. This kind of drop feels like the market has already “read” the line “mobile profits are still the big deal,” and the good news from the security business hasn’t been able to offset it—for now.

🎯 What to make of it
This drop is heavier than what the news would suggest. The Spain order for 200 networks is long-term revenue, so it shouldn’t really trigger a rapid ~9% plunge. It looks more like emotion has been amplified along with the momentum of retail traders piling in.
If later the price can get back above around 11.02—or even break through—it would suggest the market has repriced the progress in both the security and AI segments. If it just stays pinned around 10.03 without moving, it means everyone is still talking with their feet based on mobile-business profits.
Next, watch whether the 10.03 level can hold, and whether the next trading turnover will clearly expand compared to 4.27 million USD.

So is this a case of someone thinking 10.03 is already cheap enough and is quietly accumulating shares— or is it that the bag-holder hasn’t yet realized how much this news is actually worth?
