$GLM This order book is a bit interesting.

Prices are dropping fast—within 15m it has already fallen nearly 5 points, volume jumped to 4x. But if you look at OI: in 15m OI actually rose by 1.44%, and in 1h it added more than 3 points. Price is down and positions are up—that’s not just long liquidation. It looks like fresh shorts are pressing in.

Now check funding rates: -0.7777%, with the near-end at the 99th percentile. What does that mean? The shorts have already pushed the funding rate into extreme territory, close to historical highs. In this kind of setup, either it’s the eve of a trend acceleration, or the shorts are crowded and could get a snap back any moment.

Active trades are down -10.4%, the buy/sell ratio is 0.81—sell pressure is definitely leading. But OI’s abnormal percentile is 94.2%, ranking 8th in the whole pool, and it’s continued across multiple cycles; depth confirmation has also passed. To put it plainly, this isn’t just a single needle move—someone is laying it out continuously.

I’ll keep a close eye on this structure. The more crowded the shorts, the more extreme the funding rate—so paradoxically, you need to be careful about pin-risks. GLM’s volatility Z is up to 4.41; 24h turnover is only a bit over 23M, liquidity isn’t particularly thick. If shorts do end up getting covered, it can happen quickly.

Let’s watch first. No rush to pick sides.
