Solar Industries India Ltd. agreed to acquire Omnia Holdings Ltd. for 21.8 billion rand ($1.4 billion), according to Bloomberg.

The South African industrial-explosives and fertilizer company said Solar Industries is seeking to expand in Africa’s mining and agriculture industries.
