Binance will support the USDT contract swap on the Optimism network.

General

  • Deposits and Withdrawals

    • At 2026-09-17 02:00 (UTC), deposits and withdrawals of the USDT token via the Optimism network will be suspended. Users should ensure they leave sufficient time for the aforementioned token’s deposits to be fully processed prior to this time. 

    • Binance will make a separate announcement to inform users after we resume deposits and withdrawals of the aforementioned token.

    • After the event is complete, old USDT token via the Optimism network will assume the ticker of OPUSDTE respectively.

  • Spot, Margin, Futures trading and Binance Earn services will not be impacted during the contract swap.

  • Binance will handle all technical requirements for users who are involved in this event.

Contract Swap

This contract swap will be conducted at a ratio of 1:1.
