Teach everyone how to use a bull market strategy to amplify returns
First judge the big trend. Right now, with $BTC at 12, I’m still handling it as a bull market, so my principle is very simple: in a bull market, don’t short. But the market won’t keep rising forever. Wait for a pullback to a key support level, then go long with a low-multiple leverage. Looking back at every previous bull cycle, BTC typically moves three steps back and one step down (i.e., a pullback cycle): so if you only enter long at the key level, you can do it.
For example, this round started around 82,000 and then began to pull back. The real key level is 72,000. If the market stabilizes here, you can take out part of your spot holdings and open 2–3x long positions. After the market moves out, when it reaches a new consolidation range—say, in our case, after successfully buying around 72,000 and BTC starts the next trend leg—most likely you’ll encounter resistance in the 95,000–98,000 zone. Then, at that point, withdraw the leveraged portion, and convert the profits back into spot.
You repeat this cycle: price drops to the key level → low-multiple long → after the rise, reduce/close leverage → profits return to spot → wait for the next pullback.
And this method carries very little risk.
Right now, BTC’s volatility isn’t as extreme as before. Back in last year’s 1011-type extreme行情, the drawdown was only about 30%. If the market has already pulled back 10%–20% in advance, and you then open 2–3x longs at the support level, the probability of another 30%–50% “second wave of liquidation” is already very low—so the chance of getting liquidated is very, very small.
The market is becoming more mature. Previously, BTC would plunge by 50% at the drop of a hat—for example, 519 in 2021 and 312 in 2019. That kind of play was far too risky. But now volatility is converging, and that also means upside gains are smaller. So using low-multiple leverage to amplify returns has some meaning.
Don’t enter until the pullback is done. Hold spot and wait. When it reaches the key level, use a bit of low-multiple leverage to enhance your returns.
You can keep repeating this strategy all the way to the end of 2028.
