Live trading journal Day 13. BTC is now 77,385; over the past 24 hours it only rose 0.2%. The high was 77,450 and the low 76,500—just within a $900 range, it kept grinding back and forth all day. The system is telling me to stay on the sidelines; the 4-hour range has no clear direction. I can’t take it—I’m itching to trade, so I chased a long on SOL. My stop loss got hit and I got taken out—numb.
In a way, ETH is the same: lying flat with the market, no temper at all. LTC has had a bit of movement lately because of that Grayscale trust-to-ETF application. I’ve been watching it, but since the system has no signal, I’m not entering—I’m conceding this time. In yesterday’s kind of market, betting big on direction with full size at the end always turns into fuel. I don’t want to be that person again.
That said, the real money might be made by those who are sidelined with no positions, waiting—and I’m always wanting to stir something up.
